The medical examiner noted pulmonary aspiration as the immediate cause of Marshas death, but Ettinghoffs attorneys believe the evidence will show that the aspiration was caused by an ileus, or non-mechanical bowel obstruction, and severe delayed gastric emptying, both caused by her use of Ozempic.
